The wildfire success of slow burn drama series Karagar is only the latest feather in the cap for the feisty Tasnia Farin. The Bangladeshi model and actress, who debuted in 2017 with the drama Amra Abar Firbo Kobe, found a breakthrough in the 2018 Valentine’s Day release X Boyfriend, but it was her central role in Mostofa Sarwar Farooqui’s Ladies and Gentlemen, released last year, that really cemented her status as One to Watch.
Karagar has been gaining traction amongst Bengali viewers across the globe, with a highly-anticipated second season in post-production, but Farin isn’t one to rest on her laurels. A teaser for an upcoming web film Nishwas, by Raihan Rafi, who directed summer hit Poran, is already garnering positive reviews, and shows a gun-toting Tasnia Farin in a tense confrontation scene.
This Meherpur born star is definitely on the rise, and we can’t wait to see what she’ll do next.
