TVS S10X AND S20X HELMET COMMUNICATOR

TVS had a busy start to this month with its MotoSoul festival making a comeback to Goa after a brief pandemic-induced hiatus. Apart from music performances and showcases of its custom motorcycles, the bikemaker also introduced two helmet intercom systems — the S10X and the S20X, priced at Rs 8,499 and Rs 10,999 respectively. Developed with JBL, TVS claims the comms system can be fitted to any helmet and features a mesh intercom system, which can link together up to 20 riders. Users also get the benefit of active noise cancellation, dynamic volume control, access to calls and more.

Powering all of this is a 4,820mAh battery, which can be charged wirelessly.

YELLOW IPHONE 14

Apple introduced a bold new colour for its iPhone range, after the product was released in a muted green in 2022 and a purple variant in 2021. Unlike previous generations, the colour scheme will not be extended onto the Pro line-up, making this yellow variant — the first one in this hue since the iPhone 11 — a tad rarer than previous colour updates. The new look will round out the iPhone 14’s five existing finishes — Midnight, Starlight, Product Red, Blue and Purple.

The biggest update here comes to the Hasselbladpowered camera, which now features a 50MP 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, along with a 50MP ultra-wide Sony IMX890 sensor and a 50MP periscope lens. The phone itself comes with a premium, leather-like finish and gets the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. It features a 6.74-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 5000mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging.

RUMOUR HAS IT

Upcoming, but unconfirmed product launches USB-C iPhone 15: Reports of this launch are heating up on the Internet, with the phone rumoured to feature wireless charging, a re-designed capacitive mute button, and a more rounded design.

Google Pixel Fold: Google might be introducing its first foldable in June. The Pixel Fold may feature a 5.79-inch screen on the front along with a massive 7.69-inch folded display on the inside. Sony PlayStation 5 Pro: Sony is already working on introducing a ‘Pro’ version of the console with active-water cooling, a detachable disk drive, and a new CPU and GPU from AMD. .
