Isharya celebrates its flagship store launch with a dazzling new collection of jewelry

By MWB Desk

Isharya, an Instagram favorite jewelry brand that blends modern techniques with heirloom details to create pieces of glamour, recently launched its first flagship store in Bengaluru on Lavelle Road. The store, designed by architect Tejal Mathur is a story of juxtapositions created to highlight the beauty of gemstones— earth’s geological wonders.

“This store was born of the same attention to detail and thought that goes into every Isharya piece of jewellery. It was exciting to collaborate with designer and friend, Tejal Mathur whose vision we trust deeply. It is special because it brings us full circle in our journey of crafting modern Indian jewellery.”
Gauri Tandon, Co-Founder of Isharya

The store houses Isharya’s bestselling collection— the Modern Maharani series including the fifth and latest one. The store also holds the more youthful, color-centric pieces from previous collections, such as Bright Young Things and Poppin’. There is something for every kind of jewelry lover with 18-karat gold and signature Isharya colored plating, hand-cut mirrors, resins, enamel, semi-precious stones spread across this eclectic space.

In the Modern Maharani V collection, Isharya, has created a new world of jewels where glamour is de rigueur. Many standout pieces present a modern Indian magpie aesthetic inspired by architectural movements from the Mughal, Baroque, and Art Deco eras. Elegant crescent-shaped silhouettes are married with vibrant stones like Green and Pink Jade. Geometrical patterns and angular shapes are crafted with mathematical precision. And a graphic, mesh-like treatment of mirrors shines through the collection. The result is a lavish line-up of jewels that’s all about extravagance and perfect for day-to-night get-togethers, weddings, and special occasions.

The collection reimagines the pieces as artifacts of identity. And each style tells a story about sophistication and how jewelry should be fun. This is conveyed through gilded, flexible links with varied sizes and playful details like mixed metals. However, Modern Maharani isn’t just a celebration of soft geometrical shapes and edgy styling — it also shines a spotlight on pinched marquise hand-cut mirrors throughout the collection, hand-carved semi-precious stones and opulent sugarloaf cuts. The big idea? To dress a new generation of ‘It’ girls who’re fun, fab, and unapologetic about who they are!
