Warah stuns with a monochrome collection at Rock and Run 2023

One of the notable segments of Rock and Run, a musical fashion event held at Aloki earlier this month, was the showcase by sustainable brand Warah.
Featuring twelve outfits, it was an eye-catching collection that featured streetwear inspired looks in ivory khadi with gold paint and crochet lace details. From jumpsuits and trench coats to tunics and co-ords, the looks were fresh, modern, and wearable, and instantly appropriate for any occasion.
It must be mentioned here that although Rumana Chowdhury, the owner and designer behind the brand, had brought in six male and six female models to display her work, most of the clothes had a unisex appeal, meaning anyone can wear them.
Bearing in mind that the Rock and Run event was intended to raise awareness and funds for animal rights, Rumana cleverly incorporated gold embossed animal motifs into each outfit, bringing in an element of fun without losing out on the sophistication.
