House of Ahmed has opened the doors to its new outlet at Ventura Mall, Gulshan 2, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the Bangladeshi luxury fashion house. Spanning approximately 4,500 square feet across two floors, the new space brings together couture, craftsmanship and personalised service in an environment designed to offer more than a conventional retail experience.
The opening follows an unfortunate fire incident that caused significant loss and disruption to the brand. For House of Ahmed, rebuilding the outlet was also an opportunity to rethink its direction and create a stronger expression of the house.
“Chapter 2 is deeply personal for us. What we have experienced has tested us in ways we had not anticipated, but it has also reminded us why we started House of Ahmed in the first place. We believe Bangladesh has the talent, craftsmanship and heritage to create luxury that can stand proudly anywhere in the world. We chose to move forward because we believe in that vision. Chapter 2 is not about going back to where we were. It is about moving forward with greater clarity, stronger purpose and an even bigger ambition,” said Ahmed Tuhin Reza, Co-Founder, House of Ahmed.

A New House for a New Chapter
The new outlet has been designed as an extension of the House of Ahmed identity, bringing its approach to couture and craftsmanship into the physical space. The two-floor outlet offers distinct yet connected experiences, with curated collections alongside dedicated areas for couture, bridal and bespoke consultations.
The interiors follow the same philosophy as the brand’s clothing, bringing together elements of heritage and contemporary design. The space has been created to feel refined, warm and sophisticated, while keeping the garments and their craftsmanship at the centre. Details inspired by the textures and craftsmanship found in the collections have also been incorporated throughout the interior.
The new outlet brings together House of Ahmed’s signature couture and occasionwear, along with bridal and festive collections. It also introduces Friday Signature Collection, the brand’s everyday premium wear offering, extending its approach to luxury beyond ceremonial dressing.
Chapter 2 will also feature specially curated pieces, with exclusive and limited-edition creations planned as part of the brand’s evolving collections.

A Personalised Approach to Luxury
Personalisation remains central to the House of Ahmed experience. Through its bespoke service, customers can work with the team on silhouettes, fabrics, colours, embroidery, detailing and finishing to create garments tailored to their individual preferences.
For couture and bridal clients, the new outlet offers personalised consultations and private appointments. The service covers styling, fabric selection, silhouette development, embroidery, fittings and finishing, allowing the process to move from the initial idea to the completed garment with close attention to detail.
Bridal couture continues to be an important part of the house. The bridal consultation begins with understanding the bride’s personal style, wedding celebrations and the emotions she wants her wardrobe to express. The House of Ahmed team then works through the design, fabric, craftsmanship, fittings and finishing to develop the complete bridal look.

“For us, luxury has always been about more than a garment. It is about the hands that create it, the stories woven into it and the culture that gives it meaning. Chapter 2 gives us an opportunity to look at everything we have built, refine it and take it further. We want House of Ahmed to become a name that represents the beauty of Bangladesh with confidence, where our heritage is not simply preserved, but reimagined for a new generation and a global audience,” said Tenzila Elma, Co-Founder, House of Ahmed.
Heritage at the Heart
House of Ahmed is rooted in Bangladeshi craftsmanship, textile traditions and cultural heritage. The brand works to reinterpret traditional art forms and fabrics through a contemporary luxury lens, with an ambition to take Bangladeshi craftsmanship to a wider audience.
Traditional techniques and textiles, including Zardori and Bangladeshi Damdaani, form part of this wider vision. The brand’s production ecosystem currently involves more than 500 artisans specialising in embroidery, hand embellishment, textile work, finishing and other traditional techniques.
Depending on the design and level of craftsmanship, a couture piece can take weeks or months to complete. Each layer of embroidery, embellishment and finishing requires time, precision and skilled handwork.

For House of Ahmed, this is at the centre of its philosophy of “Luxury Made in Bangladesh”. The idea is to create world-class fashion while preserving the identity, creativity and craftsmanship of its origin.
Introducing Elaf
Chapter 2 also marks the introduction of Elaf, a new proposition from House of Ahmed that explores a different expression of tradition.
Rooted in craftsmanship, Elaf is designed for a younger and more versatile customer who appreciates cultural detail, quality and design but is looking for pieces suited to a wider range of occasions. The proposition is aimed at meeting the local demand for everyday luxury while maintaining a connection to traditional craftsmanship.

While House of Ahmed remains focused on couture, ceremony and occasion-led luxury, Elaf takes a more fluid approach. Its design language is traditional yet effortless, with pieces that can move across different occasions. It will also have a more accessible price positioning than traditional House of Ahmed couture.
Bangladesh at the Centre of a Global Ambition
The new outlet marks an important step in House of Ahmed’s wider ambition to establish itself as a recognised South Asian luxury house with Bangladesh at its heart.
The brand plans to strengthen its couture offering, expand its retail and international presence, develop propositions such as Ilaf and continue investing in the artisans and craftsmanship behind its work.
With its new outlet, expanded offerings and focus on personalised experiences, House of Ahmed enters Chapter 2 with a clear direction: to bring Bangladeshi heritage into contemporary luxury while creating a house that can speak to both local customers and a global audience.
