Samanzar Sayeed, Miss World Bangladesh 2026, has reached the Top 24 globally in the Beauty With a Purpose segment of Miss World 2026. Her social impact initiative, “Hygiene for Health Bangladesh”, has also secured a place among the Top 6 projects from Asia & Oceania.
Currently representing Bangladesh at Miss World 2026 in Vietnam, Samanzar Sayeed is using the platform to highlight the importance of everyday hygiene and its role in building healthier communities. Her initiative focuses on raising awareness about essential hygiene practices across the country.
“Hygiene for Health Bangladesh” covers seven key areas: personal hygiene, hand hygiene, food hygiene, safe water, oral hygiene, menstrual hygiene and environmental hygiene. The campaign works with NGOs, educational institutions, youth organisations and volunteers to take these conversations into communities and encourage healthier habits.
The initiative also places young people at the centre of its work, encouraging them to become ambassadors for better hygiene practices in their own communities. Through grassroots participation and awareness, the campaign aims to create a more sustainable approach to hygiene education.
Being selected among the Top 24 Beauty With a Purpose projects worldwide, as well as the Top 6 from Asia & Oceania, marks an important achievement for Samanzar Sayeed and Bangladesh. It brings further attention to an initiative centred on a simple but essential part of public health.
Samanzar Sayeed’s Miss World 2026 journey will continue in Vietnam, with the Grand Finale scheduled for 5 September 2026. Her achievement adds another proud moment to Bangladesh’s presence on the global Miss World stage, while bringing a meaningful social cause into the spotlight.
